In 2013, the iconic lesbian bar in West Hollywood, The Palms, closed down for good. Spaces for LGBTQ+BIPOC women disappeared. Seeing a need for lesbians to meet outside of the LA bar scene, in 2015, Elisabeth Sandberg formed a multi-cultural organization to promote lesbian art and culture. We created the very first Frida Festival, an art and music festival celebrating the life and legacy of Frida Kahlo. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community! Our board is an all volunteer, multi-cultural, and inter-generational group of LesBiQueerTI spirits with a passion for uplifting others
